Background: In 2015 the idea of a Danish "Technology Pact" (TP) based on the Dutch Technology Pact 2013-2020 model was first floated. The Technology Pact is a national, multi-stakeholder strategy aimed at having more Danes obtaining STEM and digital skills. On April 22, 2018 the Technology Pact was officially launched by four Danish ministers (Industry and Business, Research and Higher Education, Education and Employment) together with 80 other organisations. The EU STEM Coalition facilitated best practice sharing in a series of 'Taskforce Meetings' between the Dutch national STEM platform (coordinator of the Dutch Technology Pact), various key-stakeholders (e.g. regions) and their Danish counterparts.
Objectives: To support the development of a Danish Technology Pact as well as its regional implementation strategies (Regional Technology Pacts)
Results: The Danish Technology Pact was officially launched by the Danish government together with 80 other organisations on April 22, 2018. The EU STEM Coalition also supported the development of the Regional Technology Pact in the region of Midtjylland
